Ramadan 1442

Ramadan Mubarak!! We’re almost to the end of the first week of Ramadan and it still doesn’t feel like Ramadan. I’m not sure if that’s just me or you guys feel that too.
Last year was a very different Ramadan, the Masjids were closed here and everyone was in lockdown. This year, although the lockdown has been lifted and the mosques are open, it still feels like something is missing. Is it that solitude and solace or that motivation everybody had to build in their homes themselves so as not to lose the essence of Ramadan amidst the whole pandemic.
“Whenever you are alone remind yourself that Allah has sent everyone away so that there is only you and him .”
RUMI
For me personally, last Ramadan was the best one. I was all alone, and with not having work I could stay up all night to focus on my ibadah. I had managed to pray all the Taraweeh at home without feeling tired or sleepy and each salah was very personal and close to the heart. The connection developed with Allah was of closeness and awareness of Him.
Praying at the masjid is definitely great and creates a sense of unity, which is necessary but during the salah, the pace is different than it would be when you are having a one on one conversation with Allah. But then again, that’s what the sunnah prayers are for.
This year, my emphasis is on enhancing my relationship with Allah by studying His Names and Attributes resulting in a better and deeper knowledge of Him as well as developing a deeper understanding of the Quran by studying Tafseer and listening to lectures of the stories and lessons of each Juz. Insha’Allah I will share all that I have learned, here on my website one by one, so that you may benefit as well.
I pray that Allah makes this Ramadan one to remember and to make it beneficial for us and for us to leave Ramadan with His mercy and Forgiveness. May this Ramadan change our hearts for the better and May we be blessed with the opportunity to experience Laylat ul Qadar. Ameen

I think we’re not feeling excited for eid or Ramadan because of the pandemic. I’m seriously worried about at least reaching eid. May Allah have mercy on us all. aameen.
Great work btw.. keep it up bro ❤️
At times like these when you don’t feel any joy or connection to holidays, you have to remember the purpose and reason behind them. Why do we celebrate Eid? Who do we celebrate it for? The joy and excitement that we’re lacking will be found within the answers.
This just shows all the unnecessary things we do or eid preparation in normal circumstances. All we need is a grateful heart and pure intentions. Going shopping for hours and hours, although creates a sense of joy, isn’t the main aim for the celebration. So for the preparation this year, let’s reflect.
Insha’Allah everything will be alright, may Allah protect the Muslim Ummah and bless us this Ramadan and grant us a happy and joyous Eid. ♥️
Great work Mariam keep it up,
Ramadan mubarak to you… may Allah guid us yo the right path, remember me in your prayers.
Stay blessed!!
Aameen ♥️
