Why study Seerah?

Seerah technically means one’s journey of life or detailed biography. When spoken in terms of Islam, it is most commonly defined as the biography of the Holy Prophet ( Sallallahu Alayhi wasalam ).

Studying the Seerah of the Prophet ( Sallallahu Alayhi wasalam ) is great to understand how the Prophet ( Sallallahu Alayhi wasalam ) lived his life, how the environment and conditions were, how the people behaved around him and at that time, the hardships he endured as well as the victories of the Muslims. Knowing all of this adds richness to our awareness and our beliefs.
