Principles of Religion are one of the most important piece of knowledge which must be understood properly in order to put them into practice. Here you will find various categories through which you can learn more about principles of Islam.

One must know what they do!

Why learn the Principles?

I have seen many people in this world, Muslims, behaving as if they don’t know anything about Islam, their religion. Muslims performing acts of Ibadah exactly as that, an act. The purpose behind them, lost and forgotten or perhaps never grasped in the first place. Why? I ask myself. Why don’t many Muslims practice Islam when the purpose, benefits and the harms have clearly been revealed. Lack of knowledge. When you don’t know why you are doing something it becomes a mere act and at other times you simply don’t do it because you see no purpose. Knowledge is very crucial for any voluntary act that we do or do not carry out. Without proper knowledge you cannot properly practice an act and get the desired acts. Especially in this constantly growing and developing world, man is nowhere without knowledge. We really need to understand the basic principles of Islam and instill them in our lives if we truly want to be successful in this world and the next.

In the Usool-ud-Deen section I will try my utmost best to share Islamic knowledge about all of the different schools and subjects of Islam, duas and adhkars, tafseer of Quran and lessons from it, fiqh related questions and answers ( by scholars), stories and we will dive into the Islamic History to better understand the different phases Muslims have passed through and its impact on Islam today.

Practical Reminders

Ayyam Al-Beed

13, 14, 15 of the Lunar Month are called the white days because they are days of the full moon and the nights are bright.

Abu Tharr Al-Ghefari (Radi Allahu anhu’) said: “The Messenger of Allah SWT, said “O Abu Tharr! if you fast three days of every month, then fast the 13th, the 14th, and the 15th [these are called the al-ayaam al-beedh, the white days]”.

(Ahmad, an-Nasaa’i and At-Tirmithi; Sahih)

Allah's assurance to the believer

وَٱصْبِرْ لِحُكْمِ رَبِّكَ فَإِنَّكَ بِأَعْيُنِنَا ۖ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ حِينَ تَقُومُ

And be patient, [O Muḥammad], for the decision of your Lord, for indeed, you are in Our eyes [i.e., sight]. And exalt [Allah] with praise of your Lord when you arise

Surah At- Tur: 48

Saheeh International

Allah’s timing is perfect in every matter. We don’t always understand the wisdom behind it. But we have to learn to trust it.
